TERMS & CONDITIONS

General

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products.
 
By placing an order with Custom Neon Signs Australia you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Custom Orders

All our neon signs are made-to-order based on customer specifications.
 
You are responsible for ensuring:
  • All spelling, design, sizing, and colour selections are correct
  • Any uploaded artwork is accurate and owned by you
  • Once production has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible

Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars)
  • Prices include GST unless stated otherwise
  • Full payment is required before production begins

We reserve the right to change prices at any time prior to order confirmation.

Production Time

  • Standard production time: 5–10 business days
  • This may increase during busy periods
Production starts only after:
  • Payment has been received
  • Final design has been approved (if applicable)

Shipping

  • Shipping times are estimates only and are subject to courier delays
We are not responsible for:
  • Delays caused by couriers
  • Incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer

Returns & Refunds

Due to the customised nature of our products:
Change of Mind
  • We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind
Faulty or Damaged Items
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if the product:
  • Is faulty or defective
  • Does not match the agreed design
  • Is damaged during transit
To make a claim:
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos and order details
We will assess and provide:
  • Replacement OR
  • Repair OR
  • Refund (where required by law)

Warranty

We provide a [e.g. 24-month warranty] on all neon signs covering:
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Electrical faults under normal use
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
  • Damage caused by misuse or improper installation
  • Water exposure (unless specified as waterproof)
  • Accidental damage

Installation & Use

  • All signs must be installed according to provided instructions
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
  • Incorrect installation
  • Damage resulting from improper use
  • Our signs are designed primarily for indoor use unless specified otherwise

Intellectual Property

  • You confirm that any design, logo, or artwork you provide:
  • Does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
  • We reserve the right to refuse any order that may breach laws or rights
We may use images of completed products for marketing, unless you request otherwise.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our liability is limited to:
  • Replacement of the product OR
  • Refund of the purchase price
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Order Cancellation

  • Orders may only be cancelled before production begins
  • Once production starts, cancellation fees may apply (up to 100%)

Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events outside our control, including:
    • Natural disasters
    • Supply chain disruptions
    • Industrial action
    • Government restrictions

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Queensland.
